B. Pharm Regular
The Bachelor of Pharmacy at SPIPSR is a credit based four-year programme. The major topics studied at the undergraduate level include chemical, physical, pharmaceutical, Pharmacognostical and pharmacological properties of drug substances and their application in therapeutics. The basics of pharmacy like biology and chemistry are introduced in the first year of pharmacy to lay down the foundation of the course as per PCI. The remaining three years are dedicated to higher levels of Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy with specialized Clinical pharmacy studies. The curriculum is specially designed to give exposure to well-equipped laboratories, Hands-on training, Case studies, Group discussion and Conferences to UG students.
B. Pharm Lateral Entry
All candidates who have passed the diploma in Pharmacy from any educational institution duly approved by the PCI/AICTE are eligible for admission in lateral entry scheme. A candidate needs to have a good moral character, they must fulfill the conditions mentioned in the MH Govt Notification incorporated in the CET -2010 Information Brochure of MH-CET and must be a citizen of India. 10% seats of total intake in 1st year are filled in the second year out of which 33.3% seats are reserved as management quota which is to be filled directly by the college. Admissions to all seats are made on the merit in qualifying exam.
